O que é um ambiente familiar adequado?

O ECA define apenas um critério objetivo do que seja um ambiente familiar inadequado para adoção: presença de pessoas dependentes de álcool e drogas. Porém, na avaliação psicossocial realizada pela equipe da Vara da Infância e da Juventude, é considerada uma ampla categoria de aspectos que deem indícios de um ambiente salutar para a criança/adolescente.

Na constituição de uma nova família é fundamental proporcionar para as crianças/adolescentes que já sofreram uma ruptura afetiva anterior um ambiente acolhedor e favorecedor do estabelecimento de novos vínculos.
